Mike is in his second year at Vermont Academy as Director of Athletics. Having grown up in nearby Brattleboro, VT, he is thrilled to be back in the Green Mt State. He is also the Head Football and Boys' Lacrosse Coach. Mike earned his BS degree from the University of Maine and his M ED from Springfield College. Prior to working at VA, Mike worked at Northfield Mt Hermon School for 23 years, which included 18 years as Head Football Coach and 20 years as Head Boy's Lacrosse Coach. His favorite quote is "You've got to pay the price" (for success), and comes from his role model Vince Lombdardi, and is evident in his everyday teaching philosophy
