Vermont Academy's athletic facilities include:
- the Williams Gymnasium, which houses the basketball court, weight room, rock climbing wall, locker rooms, and a complete training facility with fitness center
- the fully enclosed Michael Choukas Ice Arena, with its artificial ice-making and maintenance system, and recently refurbished locker rooms
- the Warren Chivers Ski and Outdoor Education Center, including a 1,600 sq. ft. ski room for waxing, maintenance, and storage, and a spacious common room upstairs for meetings, complete with fireplace
- 20 kilometers of trails for cross-country running and cross-country skiing (with snowmaking equipment), and a 13-station ropes course throughout the wooded area on the perimeter of the campus
- seven playing and practice fields, including the John Lucy Baseball Field, the E.K. Hall Football Playing Field (surrounded by a 440-yard track), and the Hays-Naramore Athletic Field for soccer and lacrosse
- six composition tennis courts
- the '77 Winter Sports Park, complete with snowmaking, three different sized ski jumps, a ski slope, lighting, and a grooming machine
- competitive and non-competitive skiing and snowboarding at nearby Okemo, Stratton, and Bromley mountains
- Winchester Stables, a world-class facility with an indoor riding ring and trails used by our equestrian team
- Hooper Golf Course, in Walpole, NH, voted one of the top 25 9-hole courses in the country
