Stuart Eisenkraft ’74
Stuart Eisenkraft ’74 was recently promoted to Vice Chairman at CBRE, the global leader in real estate services. After graduating from Vermont Academy in 1974, Eiskenkraft received a B.A. in International Marketing with a minor in Economics from Nichols College. He went on to continue his education at the Harvard Business School Executive Studies Program. Over the years he has become a leader in his industry earning achievements as one of CBRE’s Top Producers Globally for 15 years, San Francisco Business Journal’s “Deal of the Year” for the 3rd largest leasing transaction in San Francisco’s history, and 2010 Power Broker by the Commercial Observer.
The successful 28-year real estate veteran carries what he learned at Vermont Academy with him in business and in life. “VA instilled in me a moral compass I use every day in work and in life and one that I have passed on to my own children.” Eisenkraft said. “The core beliefs that were ingrained in me at VA were really life changing in a positive way.”
After the passing of Warren Chivers, Eiskenkraft was inspired to re-engage with Vermont Academy and join the VA Board of Trustees. “I realized how much Warren gave of himself to the community and passed on his values to others who are now successful in life because of what he taught them. It was the right time for me to be able to give back and support the community that supported me.”
Eisenkraft resides in New York City and in addition to his role as Vice Chairman he serves as the Co-Chairman of CBRE’s Global Cities Practice, and is a member of CBRE’s America’s Advisory Board.
